Kayla Update III - Thanks for all of your prayers!

Just got this e-mail from Kayla's mom:

Great News-prayer works!

Kayla made it safely home and will be recovering from her injuries over the next few weeks-all things pointing towards a full recovery.

Hand is in cast for 4-6 weeks
Head/Neck- out of brace and skull will heal on its own -to the extent we can avoid any bruises for the next 6 months
-she will experience migraine like headaches for awhile-and we will learn to deal with those

She will see Neuro Surgeon and Hand Surgeon next week

Kayla Update II

Kayla is in surgery as I write to repair her thumb and wrist. The swelling on the brain is almost completely gone and she continues to respond well. She is extremely sore all over, but that is a good sign as it means there is no paralysis. Thanks for your continued prayers.

Pray for Kayla Please

Just got an e-mail that one of my students fell off a horse in California and broke her skull. There is bleeding in the brain and she is currently in an emergency room in California. Don't know anything more at this point but would appreciate your prayers for Kayla - she's a freshman in high school - and for her parents.
Thanks and as I hear more I will keep you posted.
